When traction motors blow         
LTEX 2678 blew a traction motor out. This is the end result, a big greasy mess.

Louis Brzuchalski General Never seen a traction motor due this, as traction motors are under engine connected to the trucks. Looks like an engine failure. definately something gave way under the hood! "Ouee Gooey". These scenes are hard to come by. 5/4/2005 10:10:13 AM
Patrick Caauwe General this is not unusual for normally aspirated engines, its unburnt oil from the exaust stacks. the HESR up by me has a unit that does this too. and NO this is not from traction motors. 5/4/2005 4:00:15 PM
